How to Configure your Eagentc Website with Google Analytics for Website Tracking

To utilize these instructions, you should login to the KW Website Administration Tool. This tool is located at

http://www.kw.com/websiteTemplateAdmin/admin/Home.do

You can login using your KW intranet user name and password. This is the same user name and password you use to login at http://intranet.kw.com .

STEP 1: Set up a Google account

This step is only necessary if you do not have an account with Google. If you have Gmail or are using any other authenticated Google services, you already have an account. Go to www.google.com to start.

Follow the wizard to create your Google account. Once you have created your google account, login to Google.

STEP 2: Set up a Google Analytics account and configure it to monitor your website

If you are using your KW Eagentc Website, you will need the primary address for your web template. It should be similar to http://mywebsite.yourkwagent.com where mywebsite is the specific prefix for your website. If you are using a KW Agent template, do not use a redirected domain name (www.mywebsite.com). Use the website address that has yourkwagent.com at the end.

If you are logged into the web site administration tool, you can get this address from section 2.4 of the tool.

If you are using another template website or a custom site, you should be able to use the primary domain name for your website during this process.

To set up your Analytics account, go to http://analytics.google.com/

On this screen, enter the address (URL) of your KW Eagentc website.

STEP 3: Copy the analytics tracking id and paste it into your KW Agent Template

The tracking id should be in the format “UA-xxxxxxx-x” where the x's are numbers.

Paste this id number to the web administration tool for your KW website in section 2.4. The ID number must match exactly for the tracking to work.

If you are using something other than the KW Eagentc Template, you will need to paste this entire code block as HTML code into the footer of your template product. Contact your template vendor for support on doing this.

You should see this if the code is installed properly and working:

Congratulations! You are done!

Google will start collecting data, and you should see website data in about 24 hours.
